Commonwealth & Development in Cameroon have, to date, concentrated their efforts in areas of the Central and Littoral regions, notably Douala (the largest city and commercial capital of Cameroon), but are now extending their activities throughout the national territories (where abject poverty persists, particularly in the most rural and remote communities).
We will use these previously established links to focus our initial operations within Cameroon, but we intend to expand to other Commonwealth countries as soon as possible. Indeed, our Executive Director has already made contacts in several countries, and the creation of a base in the UK will enable us to access a multitude of international networks. Within the UK, it is natural that our operations will initially centre on London, for practical reasons, but we also plan to target institutions in other regions of the UK in the near future.
